TDI Hardwood Floors has just completed refinishing the hardwood floors in our 105 year-old house. This was not an easy job; some rooms had oak strips over the original fir, one room had laminate and a layer of paint over the fir and all the wood showed a century's worth of use. Burn marks, water damage, broken boards – you name it and we had it, along with several awkward transitions. Thanks to Stephen and his crew, everything looks great now! What a treat it is to open our front door and see gleaming floors everywhere. When you own a 100 year old house, there are tons of projects making demands on your budget. TDI's price was very reasonable, they were great at problem solving and their work is excellent. Thanks so much!
TDI Hardwood Floors did an excellent job of refinishing our oak floors. On the second floor of our recently purchased home, the wall to wall carpet was removed, and the entire second floor was sanded, stained, and coated with polyurethane. A small area required new oak to be installed. The entire floor surface is now totally uniform in appearance and looks perfect ! On the first floor, Stephen steered us away from a full refinishing as the floor only required a light sanding and a new protective coat of polyurethane. Stephen thus saved us a lot of money ! I highly recommend Stephen and the team from TDI Hardwood Floors!
